Authenticated SQL injection via pathes parameter
Published Feb 6, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in Boonex Dolphin before 7.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via categories.php. The categories.php handler accepts the pathes parameter and incorporates its value into database commands without adequate neutralization, allowing crafted input to alter query behavior. Exploitation requires a valid remote account and network access; successful requests can read, modify, or disrupt database-backed application data.
