Cryptographic key exposure in Supermicro IPMI firmware allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read intercepted web and SSH traffic. The BMC image embeds reusable private keys for the Lighttpd TLS interface and Dropbear SSH daemon, enabling endpoint impersonation or captured-session decryption. An attacker needs network access to intercept a session, and the impact is limited to communications protected by those shared keys.
