Command injection in Cisco Linksys WRT110 firmware allows remote attackers to execute root shell commands through a forged ping request. The /ping.cgi handler accepts the pingstr field without a CSRF token or shell-metacharacter sanitization, then invokes the ping command as root. A logged-in administrator must load attacker-controlled content before the 10-minute admin idle timeout expires; commands return no direct output but can write web-readable files.
