Router compromise via unvalidated forged management forms

Cross-site request forgery in ASUS RT-N56U routers allows remote attackers to change settings through a crafted web page. The management interface processes attacker-supplied forms as the logged-in administrator without request-specific tokens or origin validation. An administrator must have an active session and load the malicious page; demonstrated requests change credentials, enable remote management, and establish reverse-shell access.
