Command injection in the flash_tool gem through 0.6.0 allows context-dependent attackers to execute commands via crafted downloaded filenames. The download-file handler passes an attacker-controlled filename containing shell metacharacters into a shell command without neutralizing them. Exploitation requires an application using the gem to download an attacker-named file, and commands run with the client process's privileges.
