Arbitrary file overwrite via untrusted token labels

Arbitrary file overwrite in Thales Group Gemalto TokenD 2013 allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt files via a crafted smart card. TokenD incorporates attacker-controlled card and token labels into privileged cache paths without neutralizing traversal components or symbolic links. Inserting a doctored card into a reachable reader is sufficient to create or overwrite root-owned filesystem objects, potentially interrupting service.
