Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Aug 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Havalite CMS 1.1.7 allows remote attackers to execute code via an unauthenticated multipart POST. The upload.php handler accepts a PHP file without authentication or effective extension validation and stores it under havalite/tmp/files/. Directly requesting the stored file runs attacker-controlled PHP in the web server context; the public evidence confirms only version 1.1.7.
