SQL injection in fanzila WebFinance 0.5 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through crafted contact fields. save_contact.php inserts eight POST values directly into an SQL INSERT string without escaping them before mysql_query executes it. Published assessments disagree on whether access is unauthenticated over a network or requires an authenticated adjacent-network position; database disclosure, modification, and service interruption are within the assessed consequences.
