Unauthenticated administrative access via blank default password

Authentication bypass in Polycom HDX 8000 HD Durango 2.6.0 4740 allows remote attackers to gain administrative access. The Web Management Interface accepts a blank password for the default administrative account instead of requiring password initialization. Network access to the interface is sufficient while the default password remains unset, exposing the administrative functions granted by that account.
