Arbitrary SQL execution via unvalidated administrator inputs
Published Jan 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in BabyGekko before 1.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands through its administrator panel. The /admin/index.php script fails to validate the keyword parameter in user searches and the query parameter in user-list requests before incorporating them into database queries. Direct exploitation requires administrator privileges; remote attackers can instead trigger the database access by inducing a logged-in administrator to visit a crafted page.
