Service interruption via unbounded IPv6 route creation

Denial of service in FreeBSD and NetBSD IPv6 through 2012 allows remote attackers to exhaust routing resources via Router Advertisements. Their Neighbor Discovery handling adds advertised routes without enforcing a maximum number of IPv6 routing-table entries, allowing repeated multi-route advertisements to exhaust memory. The target must accept IPv6 Router Advertisements from the attacker's network segment; the resulting resource exhaustion interrupts service.
