Code execution via crafted remote file
Published Jan 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Code execution in Citrix Receiver 3.2 and earlier and XenApp Online Plug-in 12.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted file. Public advisories do not identify the affected file-processing component or disclose how it mishandles content opened from an SMB or WebDAV file server. Exploitation requires a target to open the file and runs attacker-controlled code in the security context of the logged-on Windows user.
