Administrator-session script execution via unencoded date parameter
Published Feb 11, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in Zenphoto before 1.4.3.4 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser via a crafted date value. The Zenpage admin-news-articles.php page inserts the date query parameter into an HTML response before sanitizing or encoding it. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open the crafted URL; injected script then runs in the site's trusted browser origin.
