Stored script execution via unescaped admin email
Published Feb 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Wolf CMS 0.75 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the admin email setting. The admin/setting handler stores the setting[admin_email] value and later renders it without neutralizing executable HTML or script. Administrative access and victim interaction are required; the saved payload executes in the victim's browser under the CMS origin.
