Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in EGallery 1.2 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code by submitting a crafted file to uploadify.php. The handler neither authenticates requests nor restricts uploaded file types before writing them into the web-accessible egallery directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code under the web server context.
