Unauthenticated PHP code execution via unchecked upload
Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in WPO Foundation WebPageTest 2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. The /work/resultimage.php script passes the uploaded filename and temporary file directly to move_uploaded_file, placing the item in a web-accessible results directory without validating its type. No authentication or user interaction is required; requesting the saved PHP file executes it under the web server context.
