Unauthenticated SYSTEM code execution via login SQL injection
Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
SQL injection in Amplusnet Cyclope Employee Surveillance Solution 6.0 allows remote attackers to execute code as SYSTEM via its login form. The index.php auth-login handler passes the unescaped username value into MySQL, enabling an INTO OUTFILE query to place executable PHP in the web root. No authentication is required; file-write execution depends on the database account writing to that directory, as demonstrated against the default installation.
