Arbitrary file read via cs_lang path traversal
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Path traversal in ClanSphere 2011.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through the cs_lang cookie. The index.php language loader uses the cookie value as a file path without neutralizing traversal sequences, and a null byte bypasses the appended extension. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to files readable by the web-server process.
