Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Jul 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Web Movement, LLC FoxyPress 0.4.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code without authentication. The uploadify/uploadify.php handler accepts a multipart Filedata upload, stores it beneath wp-content/affiliate_images, and fails to reject executable file types. The endpoint must be network-reachable, and PHP execution in the upload directory grants the attacker the web server process privileges.
