Authenticated reflected XSS via unfiltered set_css
Published Jan 3, 2023 · Updated May 28, 2025
Cross-site scripting in css.php in RivetCode Software RivetTracker allows remote authenticated users to inject script via set_css. Upon a set_css POST, css.php copies the named stylesheet and embeds the unfiltered parameter in its success response; the patch applies filterData before both operations. An authenticated session and victim interaction are required, and injected script runs only in the victim's browser context.
