Information disclosure via world-readable SQLite journals

Information disclosure in Google Android 2.3.7 allows local users to read other applications' SQLite data through rollback journal files. The SQLite engine creates each transient -journal file with world-readable permissions beneath an application data directory that remains traversable by other app UIDs. Any installed malicious app can poll predictable database names during a transaction and recover URL history, messages, contacts, or other journaled content without requesting privileges.
