Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Steven Uploadify 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute code by placing executable content on a WordPress site. The process_upload.php handler accepts attacker-supplied files without validating their type and stores them in a web-accessible location. No authentication is required; code execution depends on the web server treating the uploaded file as executable content.
