Code execution via oversized .dws script

Stack-based buffer overflow in NetOp Remote Control Client 9.5 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted .dws file. The Windows Guest .dws parser accepts more than 520 characters without adequate bounds checking, overwriting the stack and return address at offset 524. Execution requires a user to open the file in the client, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in that user's process context.
