Unauthenticated remote code execution via currency cache write
Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
Code injection in WeBid 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP via a crafted currency-conversion request. The buildcache() function in includes/converter.inc.php concatenates unsanitized POST from or to values into PHP source and overwrites includes/currencies.php. No authentication is required; requesting or including the modified cache executes the injected code persistently with the web application's privileges.
