CVE-2011-10009Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via null-byte path traversal

Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026

Path traversal in S40 CMS 0.4.2 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary local files through the index.php p parameter. The page() function returns the unsanitized p value as a path to index.php's require() call, while a null byte suppresses the appended suffix. No authentication is required; a crafted GET request can disclose readable files outside the web root without changing them.
