Authenticated ftpd crash via unchecked glob result

Null pointer dereference in ftpd on FreeBSD 8.0, 6.3, and 4.9 and OpenBSD 4.6 allows remote authenticated users to crash ftpd. ftpd/popen.c treats a successful glob call as proof that gl_pathv is non-null, then dereferences that pointer while expanding a crafted LIST argument. An authenticated FTP session and a crafted globbing request are required; the affected ftpd process crashes without reported code execution or data exposure.
