Local privilege escalation via arbitrary GFS2 ACL writes

Incorrect authorization in Linux Kernel 2.6.33-rc1 allows local users to gain access to or execute files on GFS2 via ACL handling. The GFS2 ACL validation path lets an unprivileged user set arbitrary ACLs on files the user does not own, overriding intended permissions. Local access to a mounted GFS2 filesystem is required, and the consequence is unauthorized reading or execution of stored files with no evidence of remote reachability.
