System information disclosure via negative URL limits

Information disclosure in Joomla! CMS 1.5.0 through 1.5.15 allows remote attackers to obtain system details via crafted negative URL limits or offsets. Joomla's request pagination handling accepts negative limit or offset query values and emits a PHP notice that reveals internal system information. Any unauthenticated remote requester able to reach the Joomla site can trigger the notice; the documented consequence is information exposure that can aid further attacks, without demonstrated data modification or service interruption.
