Buffer overflow in file before 5.02 allows attackers to corrupt memory via crafted CDF files processed by its parser. The cdf_read_sat, cdf_read_long_sector_chain, and cdf_read_ssat functions copy or handle attacker-controlled CDF sector-chain data without sufficient bounds validation, producing memory corruption.
