Unauthenticated resource access via unrestricted feed URL
Published Jan 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
Server-side request forgery in Sencha Ext JS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to read resources reachable by the server. The feed-proxy.php endpoint treats the client-controlled feed parameter as a destination and returns fetched content without restricting the target host or network range. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure depends on deployment of the PHP feed-viewer example, and disclosure is bounded by resources reachable from its server.
