Database disclosure via unescaped search parameter
Published Jan 5, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
SQL injection in web-cyradm search.php allows remote authenticated users to disclose mail-administration database records via searchstring. Three search queries concatenate the GET value directly into LIKE clauses, letting SQL syntax alter domain, username, alias, and account lookups. A valid administrative session and adjacent-network access are required, and the documented consequence is database information disclosure rather than modification or service interruption.
