CVE-2005-10004Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via graph_start injection

Published Aug 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

OS command injection in Cacti before 0.8.6-d allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via the graph_start parameter. graph_view.php accepts a newline-delimited shell payload as graph_start during graph rendering without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A valid graph identifier and authenticated graph-view access are required, and commands run with the web server process's privileges.
